When and where are meetings held?

Four general meetings a year are prescribed in our by-laws. These meeting details are located on the Calendar page in the school library. These meetings usually take about an hour.


How can I become part of the organization?

All parents of children attending Akimel A-al are automatically members, and all members are invited to our general meetings. There are two in the Fall semester, and two in the Spring. Please check out Calendar of Events page for details.

I don't have time to volunteer. Can I just make a donation instead?

We understand that parent's and caregivers lives are jam-packed these days. That's why we have SEVERAL ways to donate.

Direct Donation - you can send any amount to the PTSO directly. Contact us to find out how!

Set It and Forget It Option - using Fry's Community Rewards, these are great ways to give back to the PTSO. Visit the links in the DONATE page to find out more.

Food and Item Donation - several times a year we put out a call for food donations for teacher and staff days, or a general call for supplies. Keep an eye out on the Akimel A-Al Newsletter from the principal (which comes out every Friday) or contact us directly to find out more!
